Exec. Board, Committee, Class Parent/Liaison Interest
All parents/guardians are members, but would you like to be an active part of the W+H Parents' Association for the 2021-22 school year? There are many ways to take part, from being a class parent/liaison, a committee member for one of our big events, or by filling a leadership role on the Executive Board. The WHPA Executive Board consists of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, as well as VPs and Volunteer Coordinators for each Division. Some of those positions are filled, but many are open and we want to hear about your interests, background and experience, as we plan for next year. Please share which posts are of interest to you and a bit about why, and feel free to nominate someone who you think would be great!

Committee involvement: We have 4 big events each year, Fall Fair; December Book Fair and/or Holiday Boutique; International Family Fun Night; Spring Gala/Fun'Raising event. Maybe you have experience with fundraising that might be valuable for organizing raffle baskets or you know of a dance troupe that would provide great entertainment at IFFN; maybe you just want to roll up your sleeves and help out while getting to know other parents! Committees are a great way to get involved. Please share any areas in which you are interested and let us know if you have a skill set we should know about.

Would you like to be a Class Parent for your LS student(s) or a Class Liaison for your MS or US student(s)? LS duties involve planning class parties, organizing basket donations for Fall Fair as well as class projects to raffle at the Spring event. Liaisons for the older grades organize basket donations in the Fall, solicit donations for the Ad Journal in the Spring, and help plan and support commencement and other year-end events.
