The American Center in Moscow is celebrating creative writing with a Creative Copying Poetry Contest. We are encouraging our patrons to spend the month of May creatively imitating a model poem in English and sharing their creations with us. The contest is held in English and runs online (on VKontakte, Facebook, and Instagram, as well as through this Google form) from May 1, 2020 to May 31, 2020. To enter the contest, compose a poem imitating Robert Frost’s "Fire and Ice" (https://www.poetryfoundation.org/poems/44263/fire-and-ice) in terms of the number of syllables, stresses, and rhymes.
