Schools in the Newfoundland and Labrador English School District promote involvement in
curricular and co-curricular activities by posting student photos, audio, and/or video of academic
and non-academic student work on their website, social media platforms (e.g., Twitter) and/or
newsletters, presentations, brochures or advertisements. Activities and achievements of our
school may also be promoted on the Newfoundland and Labrador English School District
website (www.nlesd.ca), social media platforms, or via other promotional opportunities.
Occasionally, media may be present in our school to videotape, photograph, record, and/or
interview students involved in school-related activities. Please note; activities considered ‘in
school’ include, but are not limited to; pictures and video of activities that occur in the school
environment; inside the physical building, the classroom, or in a Google classroom/ structured
online environment.
