"Masks for Justice" Project
Hello! My name is Brandy and I am an Attorney, Blogger, and DIY enthusiast. I started "The Legal Duchess" blog at the beginning of law school and continue it to this day. My love of sewing paired with my passion for equality and justice within the law led me to this idea. As COVID continues to make our world a weird place full of social distancing and required masks, I wanted to find a way to help. I have previously made and donated over 100 masks within my community this past spring but I wanted to do more as this continues to be an unprecedented time in our world.

I found some cute judicial fabric to make fabric masks out of and I am going to get busy with my sewing machine! A large portion of the proceeds from every one of these will be donated to a local legal entity- Advocates for Basic Legal Equality aka ABLE. ABLE is a non-profit regional law firm that provides high quality legal assistance in civil matters to help eligible low-income individuals and groups in western Ohio achieve self reliance, and equal justice and economic opportunity. The remaining portion that is not donated will go into the cost of materials to make the masks.

So this is your opportunity to buy a cute legal mask and help further equal justice in the legal profession in the process!

The Masks
Here is what the masks look like. They are made from a cute "scales of justice" print. They feature two layers of 100% cotton fabric, are sewn to contour to your face and have elastic ear loops with adjustable rubber stoppers for one size fits all.

**I am not a professional seamstress and I do not guarantee or promise that these will be perfect in every way. I sew well and I have gotten the mask process down pretty well but I am far from professional.
Do you understand that the masks are $10 each plus $3 for shipping within the USA? *
Do you agree to pay the Paypal invoice when it arrives via email? *
How many masks do you wish to order? (these are while supplies last so I may not be able to fulfill your full order depending on stock) *
How did you hear about this? *
