I. Beginning On-Camera Acting Technique: Saturday, July 15th - 2 pm to 5 pm Class Fee: $50

II. Advanced On-Camera Acting Technique: Sunday, July 16th - 2 pm to 5 pm Class Fee: $50

Objective of Workshop: To sharpen your on-camera acting skills: Eyelines, Technical elements for audition self tapes, Script Analysis, and Acting technique.

Participants should choose between one of the two workshops listed above.

PREPARATION: Actors should prepare a scene of their choice from film or television scripts. Your scene should be no longer than 1.5 minutes for the Beginning Actor's Workshop, and no longer than 2.5 minutes for the Advanced Actor's Workshop.

Here are some suggestions for websites with great script selections: simplyscripts.com, IMSDB.com, and thescriptlab.com. Please bring two copies of your sides to the workshop.

Kathleen Hogan has been acting professionally for over three decades. Her career has taken her from the stages of NYC to national Film and Television roles. Kathleen can be seen alongside Benicio Del Toro and Alicia Silverstone in the upcoming Hollywood feature, “Reptile,” soon to be released in 2023. She is also featured in two episodes of the Limited Series, “Manhunt,” coming to AppleTV in 2023. Some of her favorite past roles are in projects such as Sleepy Hollow, Bluff City Law, Dolly Parton’s Heartstrings, Scream, Good Girls, Dynasty, and Cobra Kai. Kathleen is a member of SAG/AFTRA and AEA, and is repped in LA, NYC, and Atlanta by Kazarian Measures and Ruskin “KMR”. When not on stage or in front of the camera, Kathleen coaches actors individually, and is also a Technique and On Camera Instructor at Drama Inc.
