Race format: ย Scratch race
Race distances & start time:1:40pm: U11's/novices - 500m uphill only (if dry and good underfoot this may change to up and down)
2:00pm: Seniors & U20'sย - 8 km
2:00pm: U17's - 7km
2:00pm: U15's - 4km
2:05pm: U13's - 2km
Terrain: ย Hill race with grassy and rocky underfoot conditions.
Registration: ย Registration will be held at the Greenock Glenpark Harriers club house, Orangefield, Greenock until 1:00pm. From 1pm onwards registration will be at the start location at Woodstock Road, Greenock.

www.strava.com/routes/2903625505479723262Getting here: The easiest way is by train to Drumfrochar station and walk from there. There are plenty of parking options for those driving. Please carshare where possible.
Route Description:
Seniors: 8km hill race with around 900 feet of ascent. Starts at Woodstock Road and climbs to Hillside Hill (above the Cornalees Visitors Centre). The first climb is on grass, with the middle section on runnable stony paths. the last climb is again on grass and mud tracks to the cairn, turn and follow the same route home.

Please note there are no prizes for taking part in this race. To be eligible for GGH club championship points and trophies you must be a member of GGH, including 2nd claim club members.
Junior runner will gain points which will go towards the
Scottish Junior Hill League.
