About the Youth Exchange
The project focuses on helping local wildlife. The main objective is to raise awareness among young people about the protection of wildlife, by participating in creative activities and by using artistic expressions that also lead to direct benefits for this animal and its natural environment. The project involves concrete interventions for local fauna as: creation of creative wood warning road signs, creation of signs for areas where turtles nest, clean-up events; combined with artistic activities to raise awareness about the importance of wildlife and its protection.

The main objective are:

  • to increase empathy of youth with fewer opportunities and people of participating countries towards animal species and environment;

  • to increase awareness about the effects on nature of human activities;

  • to increase the sense of initiative of youth with fewer opportunities by providing the opportunity and supporting them to implement their creative and artistic ideas;

  • take concrete action to safeguard the environment and wild species;

  • to strengthen solidarity, tolerance, and friendships between youth with fewer opportunities coming from different cultures and backgrounds.


Dates
Youth Exchange in Martinique island, overseas region of France: 3rd - 11th of June 2024 (including travel days)
Youth Exchange in Veli Iž - Croatia : 10th - 17th July 2024 (including travel days)

We kindly ask you to fill this application form. These are the minimum requirements from you what we need in order to make the quality assessment of your application. In any case, we are going to inform you about our decision. The decision can be that you are selected, that you are on the waiting list or that you are rejected. Please keep in mind that if we select you, we are going to ask further data from you in order to fulfill our legal obligations and create a maximum safety for your participation in the project.
