Usually, we invite parents into school throughout the year for a range of ‘Help your child at home’ workshops. These workshops provide parents with range of strategies and resources to help children continue with their outside of school. Unfortunately, we’re unable to invite parents into the school building at the moment due to the Covid-19 pandemic but we still wanted to support you in helping your child at home – particularly as there may be periods during the year when your child needs to isolate and therefore can’t attend school!

The teachers in each year group have produced some short webinar video workshops for parents to watch, so you can support your child at home. All SJPS parents who watch the workshops will receive a bag of ‘Help your child at home’ resources completely free of charge!

The presentation also includes video clips of the Reception children and also they also perform some great singing.

I'm grateful to the Reception teachers for the efforts in putting this video together. There will be another literacy and numeracy workshop coming soon.
