Comstock Hill Cemetery Cleanup: June 27, 2021
The Wilton Land Conservation Trust, in partnership with the Drum Hill Chapter NSDAR, invites the community to celebrate our Nation's Independence by stewarding the Comstock Hill Cemetery. This cemetery is the final resting grounds for seven Revolutionary War Patriots. In honor of Independence Day 2021, and the 247th anniversary of the American Revolutionary War, the WLCT has partnered with the Drum Hill Chapter NSDAR to put together a community stewardship workday to improve the quality of the cemetery’s trail and grounds.

This workday will focus on the trail, general brush maintenance, and the hand-pulling of invasive species. Volunteers will dig, rake, and cut to improve the trails and clear the passageway of stones and overhanging vegetation.
