Credit = value of the least expensive cabin for that sailing OR the value of the guest’s individual fare, whichever is the lesser. Anything over 4 credits is not transferable or has any cash value. If 10 Reservations are not obtained group leader is responsible for the entire cost of sailing; there will be NO partial credits for the cabin already reserved.
The Group Leader cabin must be paid in full by final payment and if credit clears it will be applied. The Group Leader will receive a refund for the credit amount. If there is no applicable credit then the group leader is responsible for paying the remaining difference for their reservation.
If all reservations under your group are in the same category ( Interior, ocean view, balcony) you will be entitled to earn a credit towards that specific category’s value. For example, if you have 20 balcony reservations, you will receive a credit for the value of a balcony room. If the reservations are mixed categories, the credit value = interior room.
Group leader credits do NOT have a cash value and will not be viewed as such. Credits cannot be split among reservations/cabins and will not have a “cash out” option.
Group leaders’ “codes” will be their first name and last initial or the name they are known by. They cannot be changed or modified. Guests must apply your code while booking online. Reservations will not be taken over the phone this year. If your guest did not input your code upon booking, you will have 72 hours to inform us and claim the reservation. No codes will be applied beyond this 72-hour window.
Each group leader will receive access to view their group list online.
The Group leader may not misrepresent themselves as “employees” of the company or the Salsa Cruise brand. They may not mislead potential guests into perceiving them as such. You are an affiliate of the company.
The Group leader who chooses to make flyers must have them approved by us directly. Please send proofs to
reservations@salsacruise.com. Group leaders may not make any merchandise in order to make a profit (ie selling t-shirts with salsa cruise logos etc).
The Group leader does not have authorization to customize any part of any guest’s reservation. Questions regarding payments, pricing, or special requests must be directed to
reservations@salsacruise.com.
Payment options vary depending on the group leader's status. Plan options will be discussed with each status.
This year we are introducing all new tiers for Group leaders! They are as follows:
Bronze Star Leaders = 10 reservations = 1 credit
Silver Star Leaders = 20 reservations = 2 credits
Gold Star Leaders = 30 reservations = 3 credits
Platinum Star Leaders = 40 reservations = 4 credits
Each Star Category comes with its own perks and Group Leaders will be notified of their status.
Violation of any of these rules will result in expulsion from the program.
A minimum of 10 cabins must be obtained within by group leader code to keep your status active.
