Welcome to the CMA Bala Vihar teacher family! Please fill in this brief survey to help us know more about you be sure to read the notes below before filling out the survey, as they will help answer your questions:

Class Format
Bala Vihar classes are held on Sundays at Chinmaya Sundaram. 2 sessions are offered: Session 1 from 8:30 AM - 10 AM and Session 2 from 11:30 AM - 1 PM. All grades are offered in both sessions and taught by separate groups of volunteer Sevaks/Sevikas.

Qualifications
Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow with your students. Prior experience not necessary

Time Commitment
Approx. 4 hours/week which includes 1.5 hour in-class time, 1-2 hours class preparation and 1 hour Teacher Satsang with ShuchitaJi. The Teacher Satsang is a mandatory component of the teacher commitment since it is an investment in our personal growth as individuals and teachers.

Placement
New teachers are "teachers-in-training" and will be assigned to a class with 1 or more experienced teachers. New teachers are encouraged take on more class responsibilities over time, depending on comfort level.
