RSVP: #ECDManifesto March 
On Saturday, 20 April 2024 at 9am, hundreds of early childhood development (ECD) practitioners, activists, parents, NGOs and advocates for young children will gather at Beyers Naude Square in Marshalltown, Johannesburg, to march to Constitutional Hill. We will be stopping at political party houses along the way to deliver our #ECDManifesto petition which calls on all political parties to recognise the crucial role ECD plays in shaping our nature's future. 

As our general elections on 29 May approaches, we want to make sure that our political leaders keep ECD at the top of their agenda. Caring for young children is one of the most powerful investments South Africa can make. But for too long the government has neglected young children, and the parents, caregivers and ECD practitioners who nurture them.

The period from 2024 to 2029 is our time to change this!
