Operation Shoebox 5k/1 Mile Race Information & Sign Up
Where: Race will start and finish at New Life Baptist Church - 51 Ridgeway St. Greencastle, IN 46135
When: Oct. 21st, 2023 - Race will begin at 9 AM - Registration/Bib pickup is from 7:30 AM - 8:50 AM
Cost: $20 for 5k distance - $15 for 1 mile distance
How to pay: In person at the registration table with cash or check. 

This race is a charity fundraiser to raise money for sending shoeboxes in partnership with Operation Christmas Child. $20 race entry fee is enough to ship two shoeboxes around the world. 100% of the race entry fee will go towards the cost of shipping shoeboxes.

T-shirt is not included in race entry fee. There will be water available before the start as well as a water aid station at approximately mile 1 & 2 of the course.

The race will be hand timed, and results will be posted online. Winners for overall male and female as well as age groups will be recognized during a brief award ceremony.

Here is an approximate route map of the course starting from New Life Baptist Church parking lot. It is a fairly flat course and has sidewalk and paved trails for almost the entire route.
