Berthoud High School will be offering free in person Summer School Mondays thru Thursdays 8:00am to 11:00am beginning Monday, June 5th through Thursday, June 29th. Students will be expected to come into the building and log in to their Peak Fuel Ed classroom during those hours to work on their specific course. It is incredibly important that students are present and working for the three hours each day to be successful. Teachers will be available during that time to provide academic assistance and tech support. We strongly encourage students to put in additional time outside of that time to work on their course. A dedicated student should be able to complete one Fuel Ed Credit Recovery semester course during this time period. Highly motivated students who put in additional hours outside of the scheduled in person class time might be able to get through two Fuel Ed Credit Recovery semester courses. **If you are interested in taking "Get Ahead/First Time Course Credit" please indicate so on this form. There might be some courses we are able to offer this summer. We will make a decision before leaving for summer break and let you know.
To sign up for a Fuel Ed Credit Recovery Summer School course you must complete this registration form.
Please read the following information prior to registering for a summer school course.
1) NCAA and other college athletics programs do not accept these credit recovery courses. Please talk with your counselor if you plan to play competitive college athletics prior to registering for a summer school course.
2) Once you complete this registration form you will be put into the program and your counselor will verify the course you have selected to take.
3) Ms. Bustamante will send you and your parent/guardian next step information.
4) Students must complete their course with the grade of a D or higher within the time period outlined above.
5) Non-completers will receive an F on their transcript.
6) NO TIME EXTENSIONS are given for summer school courses, course needs to be finished by June 29.
