Thank you for your interest in volunteering as a shinpan for the upcoming 2024 AUSKF Junior Open National Championships (May 25-26, 2024 | Huntington Beach, CA)
Directions: Potential shinpan for this tournament (4 Dan and above) should complete the form below and submit no later than April 19, 2024.
Additional Info: The AUSKF Competition Committee will review form submissions daily and work with regional federation leaders to determine the final selection of shinpan for this tournament. The AUSKF Competition Committee will send confirmation emails to those shinpan chosen for the Junior Open National Championships no later than April 30, 2024.
Selected shinpan from outside of Southern California are eligible to receive up to $500 as a travel stipend to cover the cost of airfare and hotel. Selected shinpan are responsible for their own lodging, transportation, and food. Selected Shinpan will be provided a complimentary lunch and refreshments during the tournament.
Due to the volume of submissions, we will not be able to accept all shinpan who volunteer their time. As such, please refrain from making any reservations (flights, hotels, etc.) until you receive confirmation that you will be a shinpan at the AUSKF Junior Open National Championships from a member of the AUSKF Competition Committee.
As mentioned above, we will have a rolling confirmation model for this tournament and notify shinpan directly to confirm their acceptance - as such, please monitor your inbox for the status of your selection.
