HKIS Summer ECA Sign Up Form - Rockstars (Rock Climbing)
This summer program makes the High School climbing wall at the Tai Tam campus available to students aged 5 years old and upwards. This course is offered during the HKIS Summer ECA Block 3 (July 4 - 17, 2022), and Block 4 (July 18 - 31). The classes encourage the students to challenge themselves physically and mentally while at the same time, having fun climbing the many routes available on the wall.

Expected Learning Outcomes

Students will learn the fundamental safety aspect of climbing and climbing technique.
Students are encouraged to master a number basic knots used in climbing and be involved in fun races.
Students will develop self confidence as they learn how to plan routes and solve problems while climbing
Students will increase physicality as they develop body awareness, strength and stamina.

Block 3 Courses.

Rock Climbing Fundamentals (R2-G5) : 12:45 - 14:15
Dates: July: 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15
Venue: MS Climbing Wall
Cost: $3750 (10 sessions)


Block 4 Courses

Rock Climbing Fundamentals (R2-G5) : 12:45 - 14:15
Dates: July: 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29
Venue: MS Climbing Wall
Cost: $3750 (10 sessions)


Special Notes:
1. For those who are already signed up for the Summer Discovery Program, and also considering the Rock Climbing Fundamentals (R2-G5). HKIS will be providing school buses to bring students between the Repulse Bay Campus and Tai Tam Campus, during the lunch period. Own transport will have to be arranged for the 14:30 class

2. If you prefer only joining for a week or only a certain number of days of the summer camp, please contact Ryan via email or Whatsapp and we may discuss pro-rata arrangements with you.
