Parent/Guardians and Student: In order to be classified as an Honor Graduate, you must have a 3.0 GPA, and have taken three AP courses and/or three college courses, and/or any combination of those. *

For  Parent/Guardians/ and Students: All 11th graders are required to take the following: US History, Algebra II, ACT Prep/Community Service, English 11 and a 3rd science course (see next question). AP History, AP Biology, and AP English placement is based on teacher recommendation and/or student application. Please note: Students who failed required courses in the 10th grade may be placed back in those courses.  Students who have not taken and/or passed PE, Health,  Art, or Professional Communication will automatically be placed in those courses. *

For Student: Choose 1 of the following below: (you must take one of the sciences classes below in order to graduate) *
Sports: Place a check next to all of the sports that you plan to play.  You will need a physical by the first day of school.
Electives:  Choose four of the electives below.  Please note: students who choose choir or band will automatically be placed in choir or band. *

Virtual Arkansas: There are several courses offered online through Virtual Arkansas. List the online courses you might be interested in taking below.  For information on the courses that are available, please email Mrs. Wheeler at awheeler@bartonsd.org 
For Student: Students will receive a copy of their schedule via email and/or pick up dates will be available in the summer. *

For Student: Any requests for schedule changes must be made through email PRIOR to Open House and PRIOR to the first day of school. No schedule changes will be made at Open House or on the first day of school. *

For Student:  Schedule change requests are merely requests and are not guaranteed. Mrs. Miller can not grant requests to put friends in the same classes and must adhere to class size requirements, and graduation requirements. *
