Wiki Knights "#NO OPT-OUT" Protest (April 9, 2:30pm)
We are an organization at UCF currently working towards stopping the Opt-Out Policy (an automatic textbook billing program) from being implemented at UCF. The textbook companies trying to push this include Pearson, McGraw-Hill, and Cengage. We have surpassed our signature goal in our Petition in less than a month. We have gotten sign on’s from multiple RSO’s and faculty members. Now we are planning to re-deliver our petition during a protest on campus at 2:30pm. We will march from Memory Mall (near CB2) towards the reflection pond and sit out while the delivery of the petition takes place.
