We plan to begin a Grad Walk tradition in St. Bernard Parish where our seniors walk through the halls of our elementary schools on the morning of graduation in their cap and gowns. Grad Walk events around the country serve as an inspiration to young students, while also providing seniors with an opportunity to appreciate the places and people who have impacted their academic journey.
Seniors will meet at CHS for 8:30AM on May 9, load buses, and head to the first elementary school at 9:00AM. Students will exit the bus, walk through the halls, then load the bus and head to the next school. The buses should arrive back at CHS between12:00-12:30PM. In order to participate, students will have to meet discipline and attendance requirements and participation will be on a voluntary basis. All participants will have to ride the school bus to participate and go to all schools.
In order to plan accordingly, we need to know how many seniors are interested in participating.
