KIWL - Knights In White Lycra - the multi-sports focused charity fundraising group is once again "Getting Fit & Giving Back” by hosting its 3rd Annual Go-Go Charity Run on Saturday 9 November 2019. This year we support YouMeWe, an NPO dedicated to helping children growing up in institutional homes by preparing them with life skills such as digital literacy and communication skills.

Challenge yourself to either the 55km, 23km or, the new-for-2019, 10km distance. After refreshments and recovery at the finish point, the annual highlight will be a visit to a nearby children’s home for a fun-filled time with the kids living there. Finish up with a dip at a local hot spring, followed by an optional post-run dinner party.

 

All donations go directly to NPO YouMeWe as follows:

The Go-Go Run is also the kick-off day for runner-extraordinaire, David Sweet's "7 Days 7 Marathons” charity run also supporting YouMeWe. David's run will end a week, and about 300kms later, at a children's home in Fukushima City.

Our volunteer support will once again be staff and students at the Tokyo International University coordinated by master logistician, Manfred Froebe.

An orientation session and vest handover will be held in late October.
