2nd Round.  2019 CMGA Grant Application
CMGA provides financial support to all Master Gardeners and to MG Interns who are involved in projects that promote horticultural knowledge in their communities in Connecticut.  CMGA has established a Grants Committee to administer this program.

WHO CAN SUBMIT A GRANT APPLICATION?
All certified UConn Master Gardeners, Interns and Extension Coordinators are eligible to apply for a grant.  Membership in CMGA is not required to apply for or receive a grant.  

APPLICATION TIMELINE
Grant Applications for Round 2 will be accepted from July 1 - July 26, 2019.  Applications will be reviewed and grants will be awarded at the August 6th Board meeting. Applicants will be notified within 2 weeks of the status of your application.

Grants will be evaluated and awarded based on our SELECTION CRITERIA below.

CMGA GRANT SELECTION CRITERIA:
1. Strong educational component.
2. Accessible to the public or non-profit facility it serves.
3. General number of people potentially affected by the project.
4. Long term benefit.
5. Number of MGs/Interns involved in the project.

IMPORTANT
Grants must be requested BEFORE a project is undertaken; grant requests for completed projects will not be considered.
