We learned that a critical driver of success was having a sufficiently viable, robust, interest-inspired business concept from day one. So, one thing we can do to support that is run an event to help our young people come up with great ideas from the beginning. This event would need to occur before the beginning of school term one, 2024.

Mentoring & Expertise *

We learned there is a need for mentors, both as ongoing mentors assigned to a particular business / group for the year, as well as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), e.g. CEO or COO training to deliver just in time training / support. Summer Engagement

In order to be ready for term one of 2024, we'd need students to be thinking about this over the Summer. A campaign could also attract the attention of young people in earlier years and get them thinking ahead of their own year 12 or 13 subjects.

One thought was to see if there are any young people who are interested in marketing and supporting them to market YES throughout the Summer. Are you interested in getting involved?
