Glencairn Church in Community is excited to introduce The Hub - Community Nights Winter 2020 session. We will be running every Wednesday starting February 5 to March 4, 2020 (6:30-8:00pm). This program features different activities for people in our church and the wider community to engage in.

COST: FREE

LEGO Drop In: Ages 5 and up (adults welcome!)
If you love LEGO this is the place to be.  We will have an open door for kids five and up to have time to play and build with LEGO. There will also be a LEGO Mini Figure Trading Wall. Participants are encouraged to bring their mini figures and trade with something on the wall.  This is a non-registered program. Just drop in. A parent or guardian is requested to stay in the building if their child is participating.


Kids In The Kitchen: Ages 8-12
Who knows how to cook? This program is designed to get participants familiar and comfortable with preparing various recipes. These nights feature some introductory skills in the kitchen and LOTS of taste-testing! The best part is, you get to taste your food and leave with a set of recipes you can try at home!

Zumba: Ages 13 through adult
Get movin' and some exercise in to some Latin beats and upbeat music with a certified Zumba instructor. No experience necessary.

Nerf Rivals: 16+ to Adults
This will be a night of intense team verses team action of foam flinging fun. We will be using different blasters through out the evening and several rounds of various objectives starting from the simple to an all out winner take all format.  Sign up for one session or all 5.

Drop-in Cafe:
Need a place to relax and have a coffee?  Come out, meet your neighbours and enjoy some snacks.  There is also space for people to bring games.  Feel free to bring some friends and a few games to enjoy.  WiFi is available. This activity is a drop-in style so you don’t need to sign up. Just come on out with your favourite games and meet some new neighbours….and eat. Simple and fun.
