The Small Steps project offers breakfast, a homework club, and a range of environmental activities run by local organisations for children in Key Stage 2. The project is held on a Saturday morning to students at the following schools: Stockham Primary, Wantage C of E, Millbrook Primary, Charlton Primary, St Nicholas CofE, and Wantage Primary Academy.
The project will be co-ordinated by the Down to Earth Community Cafe in Wantage. It is grant funded by the Vale of the White Horse District Council. It is offered at no charge to families who would not normally be able to access private tutoring or out-of-school activities.
If you would like to put your child’s name forward for a place in this project, please complete the form below. The Small Steps Project will then contact class teachers who will select the students they feel will most benefit from the activities. The project will take place over 5 weeks starting on 27 April.
