About the Brittany Angeltvedt Memorial Bursary
The Brittany Angeltvedt Memorial Bursary is in memory of Brittany Angeltvedt, two-time World Pipe
Band Champion with the Simon Fraser University Pipe Band and four-time winner of the BCPA Grand
Aggregate Award for Open Tenor Drumming.
The purpose of the Brittany Angeltvedt Memorial Bursary is to financially assist tenor drummers in their
tenor drumming education and for travel to compete at international tenor drumming championship
events.
Criteria for Eligibility
● Bursaries are open to BCPA members only
● Bursaries are only for tenor drumming education and competition travel related purposes
● A family may be eligible for only one bursary per period
● Completion of the activity must be done within eight months of awarding bursary
Number and Amount of Brittany Angeltvedt Memorial Bursary
Subject to the quality of the applications received, one $300 bursary will be awarded each year.

Award Recipient Requirements
The recipient of the Brittany Angeltvedt Memorial Bursary is required to submit to the BCPA Secretary
at
secretary@bcpipers.org a brief letter of appreciation to the BCPA Secretary indicating the progress
achieved as a result of the activity. This letter shall be submitted within 60 days of the completion of the
activity.
