The benefits of being a governor are immense. These benefits include:

Anyone over the age of 18 can be a governor and you don’t need to be a parent.

There are 3 types of governor:
Nominated/co-opted Governor
Parent Governor (advertised to the parent body when a position becomes vacant)
Staff Governor (advertised to the staff body when a position becomes vacant)
