This year Safe Harbor will be providing virtual enrichment to all Michigan City students who wish to participate. Registering your student for Safe Harbor on site services automatically registers them for Virtual services. Links to virtual services are available on the district's Safe Harbor webpage at educatemc.net/safeharbor. You may also register your student for virtual services only if they are participating in online learning.
Safe Harbor funding is tied directly to the number of regularly attending student participants. For this reason, regular attendance is important. There is an expectation that each registered student will participate either virtually or in person at least 3 days per week on average. DO NOT send your child to Safe Harbor if they are ill and/or have not met the school district’s policy regarding returning to school after an illness.
FEES: Elementary On-Site Fees are as follows. Morning Care (6:45am-8:45am): $2.00 per hour. Sliding fee scale available. Evening Enrichment (3:00-6:00pm): $20 per calendar month. A free breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack are provided daily.  Middle School and High School On-Site fees are $5.00 for the year and an after school meal is provided.
