Job Summary
Working with our team, you'll assist in ensuring that all booking processes proceed smoothly. Communication will take place in both English and Japanese, as you facilitate discussion between the booking team, certified interpreter guides, and hosts.
Responsibilities
Communicate with our Japanese artisan hosts to confirm booking details and availability
Oversee communication with our remote Booking Team to ensure streamlined communication
Draft booking itineraries and interpreter briefings in addition to providing communication with our team of Certified Interpreter Guides
Organize internal data/documents written in Japanese and assist in other administrative tasks
Job Requirements
Able to communicate, read, and write effectively in both Japanese (native-level) & English (professional working proficiency)
Proficient with Google Suite/Workspace applications
We’re also looking for at least one of these specialized skills:
Experience in interpretation and/or translation (JPN<->ENG)
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
Job Details
Applicants must be currently living in Tokyo and possess a valid working visa.
A minimum of 2 full days a week is required.
Compensation
Deeper Japan will reimburse all work-related travel costs.
Part-time rate is JPY 1,500 per hour
