PLANT SALE @ Freeville Farmers Market, May 21, 2023, 12-4pm - Vendor Application
We are inviting local nurseries, farmers and a wide variety of plant vendors to join our market for the day. This is a public market event so we hope to attract plant fanatics to attend and shop while dazzling the market regulars! We look forward to seeing plant enthusiasts and the amazing world of plants from right around the Ithaca and Finger Lakes area.
The usual farmers market vendors will be in attendance from 12-2pm and will be invited to stay for the extended market until 4pm to be part of the fun. The market is planning to have a couple other special guests and some live music. There will be food offered for sale by regular market bakers - we hope to entice them to make extra for this event!
We're hoping this will be a great opportunity for plant nerds and fans, and the public, to mingle, trade goods, and share planting ideas and knowledge!
Plant Sale Vendor Fee: $20
(Fee waived for Freeville Farmers Market vendors)
The main thing the market asks is that people 1) bring plants from their own land/farm/homestead or, 2) bring only their handmade items (i.e. no reselling). 3) Vendors will be responsible for having the appropriate licenses/permits to sell plants. 4) Vendors should be certified/inspected to sell plants 5) We recommend vendors plan on bringing a canopy/tent to house their goods.
