Questionnaire on Personal Data and Politics
This questionnaire has been designed as a part of our research that seeks to map the role of private actors in the systems, resources and strategies used for political and electoral persuasion and coercion. We seek to look at the way in which your interactions with social media platforms did or did not influence your voting preferences.

Note: We at the Digital Rights Foundation (DRF) and Media Matters for Democracy (MMfD) take your privacy and data protection very seriously and will only use your personal information to contact you for future interviews. If you do not wish to be contacted for a follow-up interview, please feel free to not provide your email address. We will save your personal data (i.e. email address) on a digitally secured online drive that is protected by two-factor authentication and is accessed only by the lead researchers of DRF and Media Matters for Democracy. We will destroy this drive altogether by erasing all the data upon publication of this study. Furthermore, all data will be anonymised to ensure that no personally identifiable markers are included in the final dataset. We ensure that our research participants digitally sign a disclaimer that they agree that their data can be used in the above-mentioned manner so that it can also act as a consent form.

Privacy Disclaimer: While we take all necessary precautions from our end to protect your data and privacy, we do not take responsibility for any data breaches that might occur from the respondent’s end.
