Our Purpose: The Gap Coverage Team exists to help our church continue to live into its mission and vision by ensuring that we are able to cover the gap between our current weekly giving and critical investments for the future of our church. We believe that this is a generationally defining moment for our community of faith. If we want to ensure that our church exists not just for us, but for our children’s children, then now is the time to invest in our mission and strengthen our ministry.
Our Ask: We need 57 people to commit to giving an extra $25 per week to help us cover the gap. Our goal is to see 100% of our church to join this team at any level they are able. Whether it’s $5, $10, $15, $25, or even $50 per week, there is no such thing as a gift too small or insignificant. Please prayerfully consider what you might be able to give over and above your current tithe, and join us in this effort. At this time our initial request is that this commitment remain in place from the week you commit through the end of 2024.
*While we plan to share the overall results of this campaign with the congregation in November, individual commitments will be held in the strictest confidence as is the case with all financial matters.
**Please note that if you are currently in a regular giving/tithing relationship with the church, this commitment is intended to be an offering over and above that current gift.
