At Civic Nebraska's third-annual BUILD UP OMAHA celebration on Nov. 15, politically diverse Omahans of all ages who exhibit civic leadership and whose work helps create a more civic and civil society will be celebrated and honored.

This civic leadership should be typified by:

- Use of consensus building and civil discourse to solve a community issue or problem
- Civic leadership to directly (hands-on) address the issue or problem
- Developing leadership among and involving others

Have someone in mind? No instance of leadership is too big or small. It can be a project in a neighborhood or a community-wide initiative.
