Reducing Financial Barriers to Spiritual Practice and Retreats
We value and seek to create a diverse sangha. Towards this goal we are reaching out to different communities, holding spaces specifically for Black / Indigenous / POC participants, and trying a community-sourced scholarship fund to reduce financial barriers. As such, this scholarship fund is specifically intended for for people who wouldn't otherwise be able to afford to come to the retreat, and are from communities that are often under-represented in Insight meditation retreats.
This includes, but isn't limited to:
• People who are Black, Indigenous, or POC
• People without U.S. citizenship status
• Trans and non-binary people
• People whose access to money and resources are restricted through disability, intergenerational poverty, or trauma
