Heritage Farm Show Vendor 2024
2024 is our 20th Anniversary for the Heritage Farm Show at Backus-Page House Museum!

WHEN: August 31st and September 1st 
TIME: 10am to 4pm each day
WHERE: Backus-Page House Museum operated by the Tyrconnell Heritage Society.

Set up Friday August 30th or Saturday August 31st 8am to 9:30pm > ready to sell at 9:45
Tear down Sunday at 4pm

** there is no wifi available and cell service can be spotty depending on your carrier
** there is no security on site overnight. You may want to pack up your stock and take it with you on Saturday evening and set it back up Sunday morning. Tents can remain on the grounds.
Tents should have weights on all four corners and/or be secured so as to not blow away in case of wind. This event will be going ahead rain or shine.

Your space is $75 for 10 foot frontage payable to Tyrconnell Heritage Society.  And is non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by THS. It will be going ahead rain or shine. 
You will need your own tent, tables and chairs.  There is no outside hydro access.  You agree to be setup on both Saturday and Sunday.  Ready to do business before 9:45am and to stay setup until 4:00pm.  No vehicles are permitted on the grounds between those times. Please pay for your space when you register by sending an e-transfer to info@backuspagehouse.ca or mailing a cheque payable to Tyrconnell Heritage Society, PO Box 26, Wallacetown, ON, N0L 2M0 with your registration form.

Vendor Waiver 

All visitors, volunteers, vendors, staff, committee members will be treated with respect by all. 

 

Definitions:  

In this document, Tyrconnell Heritage Society and Backus-Page House Museum means any volunteers, Heritage Farm Show committee members, team members, staff, individuals working on behalf of the Society, Museum or Heritage Farm Show committee or the Society or Museum as a whole.   

Vendor means any individuals hosting a vendor booth, working in a vendor booth, or engaged in running a booth at the Heritage Farm Show event.   

The Heritage Farm Show Committee has put preventative measures in place to ensure the general safety of all vendors, visitors, staff and guests, however, the Heritage Farm Show Committee can in no way guarantee there will be no safety issues during setup, tear down or the event itself.   

Agreement: 

I acknowledge my own personal safety and that of any minors under age 18 that are in my care is my responsibility. 

I acknowledge that I will act in a manner that reduces my personal risk to any safety issues. 

By Signing this Agreement: 

I do not hold the Heritage Farm Show Committee, Tyrconnell Heritage SOciety or Backus-Page House Museum responsible or liable for any and all damages, occurrences, altercation, expenses, illness, injuries, disability or death related to any occurrence during the set up, take down and during the Heritage Farm Show.   

I hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge or hold the Heritage Farm Show Committee, Tyrconell Heritage Society, Backus-Page House Museum and Ontario Parks for any and all claims for the Heritage Farm Show.   I hereby enter the following entries at my own risk and subject to the rules of the Tyrconnell Heritage Society and Backus-Page House Museum.  I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the TYRCONNELL HERITAGE SOCIETY, BACKUS-PAGE HOUSE MUSEUM, His Majesty the King in right of Ontario as represented by the Minister of Natural Resources and Minister of the Environment, Conservation and Parks; their members, agents and employees from and against all claims, demands, losses, costs, damages, actions, suits or proceedings by any third parties that may arise out of, or may attribute to all operations performed or carried out by myself, my agents, employees or servants or anyone for whose acts they may be held liable, howsoever caused.
