The SIerra Club Tehipite Chapter is currently running our annual election for our Chapter Executive Committee, known as the Chapter Excom. You should have already received your ballot in the mail. Four Excom members will be seated at our January 18, 2024 meeting to serve a two-year term, through 2025. At this meeting, our Excom members will elect our Chapter officers for 2024. In accordance with national and chapter bylaws and standing rules, the Chapter ExCom sets policy not already set by the Sierra Club national Board of Directors, and conducts the affairs of the Chapter.
Please read these instructions carefully. Incorrect votes will not be counted.
All current Tehipite Chapter members should have received a ballot from the chapter via U.S. mail . Members have the choice of voting either by mail or email (if the Club database has a valid email address for you). If you cast a vote by both methods, only the email ballot will count.
Members with a joint membership (two members in a household), may cast two votes using this ballot.
The deadline for your ballot to be received is at 11:59 pm on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. You may vote for up to four candidates.
Excom winners will be announced and seated at the January 18 Excom meeting (Excom meetings are usually held on the second Wednesday of each month, year round, on Zoom, and all Chapter members are welcome to attend. This meeting is at an unusual time).
Contact our Chapter Chair, Jeremy Clar, at jclar440@gmail.com if you are interested in signing up to receive the agenda and a Zoom link on the day of the meeting.
