Announcing…..the Skyline 4th /5th Grade Strings Club
- Meets in the music room Mondays after school 3:30 – 4:45
- Begins on Sept. 30, 2019 and ends with a performance Dec. 16th
Instruments: Violin, Viola, and Cello

Monday, Nov. 11th – No School/No Club Meetings (Veterans Day Holiday)

Monday, Dec. 16th – Performance at Vista Middle School with Cascade Elementary Strings
- Class will end early at 4:30
- Students arrive at Vista MS at 6:00 p.m.
- Informal performance for families and friends 6:30 p.m. – about 7:00 p.m.

Obtaining an Instrument: In lieu of the club fee, we ask families to provide an instrument
for their child. If you do not have access to an instrument, we have a limited number of violins and violas available to borrow. (Instrument availability will be determined by the number of students who sign up to participate. Families could also rent an instrument from a local string instrument store.

Second Year Students: If your child played in Strings Club last year and would like to join
again, we will do our best to keep him/her challenged with an additional “advanced” piece
and occasional “pull-outs” from the full group rehearsal. Second year students may also
want to consider trying a different instrument if available.
