Waterdown Farmers' Market Community Tent Application
Attention Local Non Profit and Charity Organizations:

Support our local Farmers’ Market, promote your organization, reach new customers and build a local following. Each week of the Waterdown Farmers’ Market season, there is one Community Tent available at no cost for local not-for-profit, or charitable business organizations.

Community Tent Benefits:
  • A large number of local shoppers visit the Waterdown Farmers’ Market each Saturday (on average 1000+ visitors)
  • Exclusivity – only one community tent per Saturday 
  • Handout pamphlets and information. Consider QR codes, and environmentally friendly ways to communicate your message. 
  • Additional promotion - the Farmers’ Market is promoted on the Waterdown BIA’s website, the Waterdown Farmers’ Market website, as well as through our social media websites including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
Community Tent Details:
  • The Waterdown Farmers’ Market takes place every Saturday from the end of May until mid-October in the front parking lot of the Waterdown Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion at 79 Hamilton St. N. 
  • We can supply a 10’ by 10’ tent, an 8’ table and two chairs, which are provided and set up by market staff. Or bring your own branded tent if you wish.
  • Organizations are encouraged to use interesting and visual displays (banners, signs, promotional material, etc.) to merchandise their organization
  • Organizations should be ready to receive customer inquiries by 8:00 am and stay until Market closes at 1:00 pm. Vehicles are not permitted in the layout after 7:45 AM. If you want to unload material from your vehicle at the community tent location, please arrive by 7:30 AM
  • Selling of any goods, raffle tickets or other merchandise must be approved by Market Management. Please complete the request as part of your application
Community Tent Fees:
  • No cost for attendance to local, community not-for-profit organizations.
