Escape Fake News 2.0 - Application Form

We are Fakescape and Genesis and we would like to ask you to fill this application form to become a participant in an awesome international project called Escape Fake News 2.0.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

The project ESCAPE FAKE NEWS is a two-staged international training course that introduces fact-checking techniques, revealing fake news and gamification in non- formal education. Through this training course, we want to share with enthusiastic youth our experience with developing educational games and education on media literacy. We want to use our experience and feedback from participants gained in the successful training course from 2022 and make this training course even better. We aim to share our expertise and inspire youth to be active and start their initiatives.

WHEN & WHERE

1st stage: November 2-10 2024, Czech Republic

2nd stage: March 13-20 2025, Georgia

SELECTION PROCESS

In order to apply, we ask applicants to send us a short video that can be recorded with a mobile phone, and answer these two questions: 

1. Why is it important to combat disinformation?
 
2. What is your personal motivation to join this training course?

Your video should not be longer than 2 minutes. 

Please upload it to Google Drive, then copy-paste the link to the relevant section of this application form. If you have any technical difficulties, don't hesitate to contact us.

IMPORTANT NOTES

- You have to be fully available during both of the stages.
- It is an interactive project, some activities might take place in nature.
- Travel costs, accommodation, food will be fully covered to the chosen participants by the organizer.
- Basic English language for communication is required.
