This presentation will cover the regulations related to the human subject research, provide updates on recent regulatory changes and explain the Institutional Review Board (IRB) application process. All research conducted by Oakland University faculty, students, or staff that involves the participation of human subjects or use of their identifiable private information or biospecimens must be submitted to the IRB for review and approval prior to initiation.
