ASVA studentenvakbond brengt met dit onderzoek in kaart hoe het gesteld is met de sociale veiligheid rondom en onderweg naar de Amsterdamse studentencampussen. Een sociaal veilige situatie gaat onder andere over het niet plaatsvinden van bedreigende situaties zoals naroepen, achtervolging, beroving, aanranding en verkrachting, alsook afwezigheid van het gevoel van dreiging.

Het eerste gedeelte gaat over de veiligheid in de directe omgeving van het huis, het tweede gedeelte gaat over de veiligheid van de route ernaartoe. Het doel van de enquête is het vergaren van informatie en het bevorderen van de veiligheid door de resultaten aan de Gemeente Amsterdam te overleggen, en in gesprek te gaan over hoe het verbeterd kan worden.

With this research, ASVA student union maps out the social safety of Amsterdam student campuses. A socially safe situation on the way to and around the place of residence is among other things about the absence of threatening situations such as being called after, pursuit, robbery, assault and rape, as well as the absence of the feeling of threat. The first part is about safety in the immediate vicinity of the house, the second part is about the safety of the route to it. The purpose of the survey is to gain information and promote safety by submitting the results to the municipality of Amsterdam and discussing how it can be improved.
