Our vocal assessment process is friendly, short and informal. Singers will sing a bit, and talk with the director. Singing in a Coastal Sound Choir is about more than "just singing": singers learn leadership and performance skills, learn how to work collaboratively and creatively in a group, and learn how to read music. The vocal assessment process will determine which group is right for your child.
Singers should prepare a song they know (Happy Birthday or O Canada is fine!) and parents are welcome to observe the assessments. Vocal assessments are about 10 minutes long.
