Parent Survey for Fall 20-21 Return

Please help us better serve our students and families as we plan for 20-21 school year by completing this brief survey. Your information will guide the district in planning for August 2020. We understand that anything less than a full-time, in-person schedule may place a strain on our families. We do recognize that because of medically fragile students, at-risk family members, or other issues will cause some families to not be comfortable returning to a traditional classroom until a vaccine for COVID-19 is widely available. Please know that we are constantly monitoring the impact of COVID-19 on schools. If you have more than one child, please complete a separate survey for each of your children.

Krebs School wants to provide learning opportunities for the 20-21 school year that provide for a safe return for students and staff. Please read the options that Krebs School is considering for 20-21. *

Option 1- Traditional Learning. Students would return to the building for face to face instruction. The district would ensure safety protocol and cleaning measures are in place to mitigate the spread of the virus as much as possible. Distance Learning would be utilized as deemed necessary for positive cases and exposure of COVID. Social distancing would be practiced to the best of our abilities while in the building.

Option 2- Online Virtual Learning. Students would be enrolled in an online curriculum and the child would not attend school for face to face instruction. The child would be expected to work on their online curriculum and make acceptable progress in the program by specific dates. For instance, the child should complete at least 25% of their modules by the end of the first nine weeks etc... Online learners would stay at home full time and a teacher would make contacts to parents if the child is not making adequate progress in the curriculum.
