Traditionally:
*Two-day, overnight trip: Usually includes - a fun educational experience (i.e. Exploratorium, Alcatraz, aquarium), a non-educational activity (i.e. time on Pier 39, sports game, movie), Jelly Belly Factory, and Six Flags
*Fundraising covered transportation - this has become increasingly more difficult to guarantee full coverage from fundraising efforts
*Contribution cost per person has continued to increase (and more rapidly over the last three years) resulting in last year's contribution of $230 per person
*Full trip fundraising and contributions included: transportation, hotels, admission tickets, meals (excluding the two meals during the actual travel)
*Overnight trips require a district fingerprinted adult to be present in every hotel room.
*Chaperones are required to pay the cost as well & to pay for the cost of fingerprinting. Estimated cost between $50- $60.
