AV CERT Grid Search Training Sign-Up
AV CERT will conduct a Grid Search Training on March 27, 2021 from 0800 to 1100 hrs at 38610 140th Street East (a quarter mile north of Palmdale Blvd).  Space is limited for this training.  This training is free.  AV CERT members that sign up will receive a notification via email and/or text message stating whether or not they are placed on the space-limited training roster or on standby roster.

This training will include elements of search & rescue, basic incident command system operations, CERT communications, and medical treatment.  AV CERT members with physical limitations are always welcomed and encouraged to participate as with CERT there's always a position for everyone.

All AV CERT members who receive notification that they are on the training roster for that day must bring their CERT backpacks and required to wear boots (preferred for the training terrain) or closed toe shoes.  All Personal Protective Equipment is required to be worn and/or used including helmet, goggles, and gloves.  Bring any other equipment that may be pertinent to the training exercise such as handheld FRS/Ham radios, water bottles, snacks, flashlight, compass, med kit, whistles, cell-phone USB power bank, personal items to accommodate physical limitations, etc.

COVID-19 protocols shall be followed.  Properly worn masks are mandatory. If you are experiencing any COVID like symptoms, please do not attend this event.

Do not submit duplicate sign-ups.  If a change is needed to a submitted sign-up, please email info@antelopevalleycert.org.
