Live on Zoom (we never record!)
Thursday, June 1, 7:30pm to 9:00pm Eastern
We all know the costs of stress: the frustration, exhaustion and general sense of being ground down or amped up beyond what is useful. But what changes when we ask ourselves what our stress responses are trying to do for us? In this 4 session workshop series, we'll explore the benefits of the 4 basic stress responses: fight, flight, freeze and tend and befriend.
I stole this title from a meditation teacher, David Gandelman. We think of the freeze response as a doe caught in the headlights. But what if it's really a warning to stop doing and take a beat. When do you wish you hadn't pushed forward or pushed a button? Stopping isn't a bad thing: sometimes it makes room for reflection and a better way.
Thanks for registering for this event, We will email you the Zoom information and links to a handout one week before the event and send another reminder one day before the event.
