In partnership with San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) Education, San Francisco Ballet is thrilled to announce an exciting
free field trip opportunity for Bay Area schools. Join SF Ballet and SFMOMA for an educational screening of the dance film
COLORFORMS, created by choreographer Myles Thatcher and filmed on site in the galleries of SFMOMA, Yerba Buena Gardens, Golden Gate Park, and the SF War Memorial Opera House.
Each 60-minute screening includes an introduction from the choreographer, interactive standards-based dance education activities led by SF Ballet teaching artists, and a post-screening Q&A with artists, plus free access to the SFMOMA galleries where students can explore the works of art that inspired the choreography in the film. This field trip is an excellent opportunity to expose students to dance, music, media and visual art forms in a hands-on, interactive, and integrated setting. Recommended for grades 2-12.

Once your request has been processed, your ticket confirmation will be sent via email within 7-10 business days.
