Mental Health Issues of Medical Students in Western Balkans
The six medical students’ associations of the Western Balkans have something to share with you. This is the kick-off of a regional initiative to assess mental health issues among medical students and young medical professionals through the DASS-21 questionnaire and create an overview of how mental health and mental health issues are perceived among medical students. This first phase will be followed by a tailored set of activities within each country’s medical schools, to raise awareness and encourage asking for help.
This questionnaire was designed by ACMS Albania, BoHeMSA Bosnia & Herzegovina, IFMSA Serbia, KOMS Kosovo, MMSA North Macedonia and MoMSIC Montenegro as partners under the framework of EU-WB-SI Project – EU Western Balkan Students Integration, supported by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and RYCO.
