Community of Practice on Nature-based Solutions in Water Resource Management
Nature based solutions (NBS) are actions to protect, sustainably manage, and restore natural and modified ecosystems that address societal challenges effectively and adaptively, simultaneously providing human well-being and biodiversity benefits.

NBS have been identified as an important topic also for Global Water Partnership (GWP). They are recognized as a suitable solution for several water challenges and other related global issues (e.g. climate change, sustainable development goals). On the other hand, there is still a lack of awareness, insufficient cross-sectoral exchange and knowledge fragmentation which all burdens a wider recognition and implementation of NBS.

Based on the relevance of the NBS, the GWP has established a mission to define, design and launch the community of practice related to the nature-based solutions. We wish to involve in the design process as many experts as possible. For this purpose we will carry out a short survey. We thank you in advance for your vauable input that will help us design the community which will serve your needs as much as possible.
