SURJ Northland has been called on to help staff the kitchen at the Palisade Camp which is located about an hour away from Duluth.

They would like people to come out once a week if possible and take a day in the kitchen under the guidance of the camp cook, Turtle. Turtle has all the food and the menu planned so a couple people would be appreciated to help with prep and cleanup and have the opportunity to build community with folks there.

We are looking for 6-8 people willing to go to the camp and help for about 4 hours.
Dates and times are flexible, but knowing in advance when someone(s) can be there is helpful to the coordinators on site.
You are welcome to go one time or several times.
You can go solo or with a partner.
