New Plymouth Ravens are excited at the prospect of having Michael Hunt attend our development camp as the lead instructor. Michael has a wealth of knowledge both in inline and ice hockey and is a Canadian representative player and coach.
A few facts;
1. Goalies can participate free
2. Coaches are invited to participate as well
3. Parents wanting to learn to  coach are welcome - we can cater for up to 10 per session - possibly more.
4. Evening coach workshops are being offered as well for develop coaches

Some information on Michael's philosophy;
"I am  a completely different instructor.  I specialize and focus on kids and players becoming better students, athletes and people. I really try to get down to the level of every single player to make sure that they understand that they are important and that this game can help spring board them into having a wonderful athletic career and a jump start on a great life.
We focus on working together as a team, supporting each other regardless of ability, we have a mentorship program where a 10 year old mentors an 8 year old, a 14 year old mentors a 12 year old and so on. We make sure that kids understand that learning how to work hard , put effort in and working together as a team to reach common goals will not only help them on the rink but also in the classroom, in the work force, in relationships and in life.
It all comes together and that's why we are so successful in what we do. I can make you this promise and its the promise I make to every group we help, it will be the best camp your kids have ever participated in and the smiles and new appreciation for for the game will be evident.  I also stay in touch with my players to see how they are progressing. I am only a phone call away if they need help or advice with anything.

I have dedicated my life to helping kids, hockey players find a better path in life through this great sport.
